Our social change
In 2022 we launched Our Social Promise: a commitment to enhancing the lives of one million people through job creation, education, training, community, and charitable engagement. By 2030 we want to have addressed the barriers that many face when it comes to progression – particularly of gender, race, and those from less advantaged and under-represented backgrounds – and we’ve set the industry’s first socio-economic representation targets.
Our community approach
Our LGBTQI+ PRIDE in Food network is made up of a fantastic group of people from across the community. We take part in Pride celebrations throughout the country and are a key hospitality partner for Pride London. As well as celebrating our community, we also want to drive it forward, pushing for changes that we still think are needed. We run a series of events, from community projects to discussion groups; bringing to the table topics that matter and making the network visible throughout the year.
Our employee networks play a vital role in ensuring we live and breathe our diversity and inclusion commitments. Run by colleagues, for colleagues, they work together to develop meaningful initiatives that raise awareness of key issues with a focus on building a culture of respect, integrity, and belonging.
